Job Overview

Planning, execution and optimization of Company's digital marketing strategy while cutting through SEO, SEM, SMM etc. to ensure continuously growing traffic of relevant audience and deliver consumer delight.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identify consumer journey through the marketing funnel and deliver digital delight to the right customer at right stage at the right time, while smoothening his journey through the funnel.
  • Tracking and improving conversions from one stage of the funnel to the other while minimizing consumer acquisition costs.
  • Formulate strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers and impressive digital reputation for the Company while increasing relevant traffic to company's digital channels- website, social media etc.
  • Plan, implement, monitor, evaluate and grow Company's presence on social channels while publishing and monitoring content as per Company's digital marketing strategy.
  • Plan, implement, monitor, evaluate and grow traffic to Company's website through owned media using Search Engine Optimization, creating & delivering newsletters, promotional emails etc.; and through paid media which includes Adwords, Facebook ads, ads on other websites etc.
  • Optimize the existing web-pages for search rankings, conversions etc. using appropriate keywords, image optimization etc. while collaborating with Media Creation & Publication Team to improve user experience.
  • Repurposing the content in line with the brand story and brand image so as to ensure a cohesive and lasting impression on the TG.
  • Implementing, optimizing, monitoring, reporting and improving Company’s digital strategies/endeavors to ensure a trackable MoM growth in KPIs while using proper tracking tools.
  • Collecting, evaluating, understanding and presenting consumer feedback data, performing relevant market research and exploiting it to improve traffic and reduce acquisition costs while handling consumer complaints and interaction on social channels.
  • Reaching out to potential influencers of a domain to ensure effective link building and maximum back-linking.
  • Managing the work produced by and working together with the graphic designer and teams associated with producing content.
  • Evaluating competitor's digital marketing strategies and overtaking them with minimum resources while staying up-to-date with latest digital marketing trends to keep strategies up-to-date.
  • Budgeting and implementing marketing campaigns, product launch campaigns etc. Designing, testing and optimizing ads and ad creatives on different digital platforms while keeping the TG in mind.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as may be required for the delivery of your responsibilities.
  • Create an environment that treats people with respect and enables them to develop and realise their potential.

Required Skills

  • Excellent soft skills with strong command over concepts and best practices in digital marketing.
  • Boasts of a creative and entrepreneurial attitude, knows how to read between the numbers and is empathetic to the TG.
  • Proven experience with keyword planning, content marketing, B2C social media, email campaigns and SEO/SEM.
  • Proven experience with re-marketing, targeted display ads, Adwords, Facebook ads etc.
  • Knowledge of ad serving and web analytics tools and has a good track-record of using them for growth.
  • Can handle marketing channels responsibly and take ownership of relevant-traffic driven reputation of the Company and its brands.
  • Understands the life, needs and cravings of a geek audience.
  • Demonstrates the ability to create and lead a team from scratch to new heights while ensuring their motivation and performance.
  • Eats numbers for breakfast, patterns for lunch, growth for dinner and sleeps in a jacket of responsibility and ownership.

Qualification

  • Degree or equivalent relevant professional qualification, preferably Bachelors/Masters in Mathematics/Computing or any qualification related to digital marketing, analytics, statistics etc.
  • Proven experience in a Digital Marketing role with a growing business or a start-up.
  • Attention to depth and a knack for identifying every factor which contributes to a particular number in sight.

Salary (LPA): 4.0-6.0 (depending on qualification, experience and skills) + Performance based incentives & Bonuses; exceptions considered

Incentives and bonus: Performance incentives depend on individual, departmental and overall company performance while bonuses are solely depended on the discretion of Board of Directors.
