Kits and Learning Modules
Getting Started with Scratch
Scratch is a free programming language where you can create your own innovative and interactive projects, stories, games, and animations. In this tutorial you will learn how to install scatch and configure it for evive.
Getting familiar to Scratch Interface
There are four basic elements for programming in Scratch: Sprites, Stage, Script and Blocks. In this tutorial you will get familiar with Scratch Interface
Under Scratch mode which is defualt mode when mBlock start, mBlock could program robot through USB serial port, the robot is running a program could communicate with mBlock, and robot could intercate with Stage and create more insteresting projects and animations.
Under Arduino mode, the instruction blocks will be tranfer to Arduino C++ into Arduino IDe, and user could modify code in Arduino IDe, and then upload the code into Robot.
Stage and Sprite
In this tutorial you will learn about stage and sprite in detail. You will get to know how to write script and change costumes for each one.
Creating animation is one of the most important application of Scratch. In this tutorial we will make a flying bat animation.
Each sprite has its own scripting area, where the scripts are written perticularly for that sprite. This tutorial shows how two sprites can communicate.
Variables are used whenever a value must be stored. In this tutorial, we will learn about variables, types of variable and how to use them in Scratch.
